A local man has been booked on a murder charge.
Jacoby Senegal, 33, was booked with second-degree murder. His bond is set at $350,000.
Senegal is accused in connection with the shooting death of Billie Joe Touchet, 29 on November 17.
Records show the shooting initially was reported as an attempted suicide. The victim has since died, deputies say. Following an investigation, Senegal was arrested and accused of shooting the victim.
