A group of concerned citizens got together with Ray Patt, head custodian at Alice Boucher Elementary, to help children who are out of school and without lunch tomorrow.
The school system will be offering breakfast and lunch to local children, but not until Tuesday.
Mr. Ray's group will be handing out bag lunches to children at the Pediatric Group of Acadiana, 612 Westgate Road, and at Christ Church Academy, 1700 West Willow.
Distribution will take place between 11AM and 1PM or until they run out of food.
