A group of family and friends of Matthew Carter who was shot over the weekend in Lafayette, are hosting a gathering Tuesday evening.
The gathering will be a car and truck meet outside of Cicis Pizza in Lafayette just off of Ambassador Caffery and Kaliste Saloom. The restaurant is just a short distance from where Carter is being treated at Our Lady of Lourdes.
Managers for the restaurant say that family and friends are inviting the public to come out from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The group does anticipate that the meet may go longer.
Those who attend will also be able to donate to a medical fund for Matthew through a donation box, if they choose.
