Funeral arrangements have been announced for the Comeaux High student who passed away last week.
Services for Matthew Carter were released on Monday by his family. Visitation will begin on Wednesday at David Funeral Home in Lafayette with services continuing on Thursday. Full funeral services will be held at The Bayou Church in Lafayette.
Burial will be at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Youngsville.

Last week, the students at Comeaux High and the community gathered to honor Matthew, sharing stories during a vigil at the school.
Matthew Carter was was shot during an attempted armed robbery on January 18, 2020 has died at a local hospital on Wednesday.
