Fred Reggie, a longtime Lafayette business coach, is offering a free seminar to help local businesses weather the COVID-19 storm.

The seminar - which is offered via a Zoom conference call - is designed to help business people keep their customers and clients engaged throughout the crisis. It will be held on Tuesday.

"This is not a sales pitch. We are only here to support businesses who are struggling at this uncertain time," Reggie writes. "This is my way of reaching out from a community service standpoint to offer whatever expertise, if you will, that I can and to invite others who are on the call, to maybe contribute some ideas as well."

It's free, but you do have to register because space is limited. To sign up, click here.

"I put together this conference call where I'm inviting business people to join in and we're going to have a discussion about how to break through some of the confusion and disruption that's caused by this coronavirus situation that we're facing," Reggie explains. "A lot of businesses are paralyzed right now. They don't know which way to go. They're usually in the mode of doing business on an ongoing basis and that's come to pretty much a screeching halt for so many businesses."

The conference call will help business people take steps to reach out to their customers and clients during this time. Everyone is affected by this situation, he says. Anyone involved in the business of engaging people is invited to sign up, he says.
