The first Louisiana Saturday Night event took place at the Cajundome Saturday night, and featured food and merchandise vendors, an outdoor movie screening, and more.
The event will take place on two more Saturday nights - July 18 and July 25 - from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Cajundome officials made some changes to the event Saturday morning after new restrictions set forth by Lafayette Mayor-President Josh Guillory. Organizers were monitoring capacity at the event and also required attendees to wear face masks.

The event was held the same night as a drive-in concert held by country music superstar Garth Brooks.
