"Louisiana Saturday Night" launches tomorrow at Cajundome

The CAJUNDOME has announced a few new summer events to be held on the CAJUNDOME grounds, and the first will be tomorrow.

The “Louisiana Saturday Night” outdoor event series will include food and merchandise vendors, live music, stage performances by Wonderland Performing Arts, an outdoor movie screening, and more.

The event will take place on three separate Saturdays, including June 27, July 18, and July 25, from 5PM to 9PM.

The event will allow for ample social distancing, free admission, and free parking available. Tomorrow, free parking for Louisiana Saturday Night will be on the CAJUNDOME grounds, enter Gate 8 on Congress St.

The same night, the Garth Brooks Drive-In will be ticketed at Cajun Field, Entry at Gate 5 (CAJUNDOME Blvd and Reinhardt Dr).

Guests should bring their own blankets or lawn chairs for the movie screening or information on VIP seating options is available online.

For future events, food and merchandise vendors are welcome to register to participate in the event and should follow proper social distancing guidelines in setting up their vendor space. Additional vendor information and registration is now available on the CAJUNDOME website. Registration is due one week prior to the event date.

Movie screenings include: Frozen II (June 27), TBA (July 18), and Toy Story 4 (July 25).

There also will be live music, a blood drive and the All Aboard Party Train will be offering rides around the CAJUNDOME. Additional fees may apply.

Patrons are reminded to support the CAJUNDOME and local food and merchandise vendors by leaving their ice chests and outside food and beverage at home.
