LAFAYETTE — DOTD is planning a rehabilitation project for part of Ambassador Caffery Parkway.
The project, which will stretch from the area near the Acadiana Mall to near the new Costco development, will make traveling smoother for drivers and pedestrians alike.
"We do have a project to do some rehabilitation of Ambassador from that section from Johnston to Kalsite Saloom (Road)," DOTD district engineer administrator Bill Oliver said. "In the next year or so, we'll have a project--we're in design right now to do some concrete patching, repair, resealing all the joints, and repairing all the sidewalks, which have some gaps in them."
Oliver also spoke about the Johnston Street J-Turn project that was first announced two years ago but has yet to get underway.
