Barricades go up Friday for Lafayette Martin Luther King holiday parade

The Lafayette Police Department says that barricades will go up Friday morning for Lafayette's Martin Luther King holiday parade.

The parade takes place on Sunday, January 19 at 3:00 pm.

Barricades will line the route from the Martin Luther King Center on Cora Street down Martin Luther King Memorial Parkway to the Clifton Chenier Center.

  • Martin Luther King Youth Pageant 4:00 p.m.
