Lafayette Police have made an arrest in connection with the October 15 shooting incident at Moore Park.

19-year-old Jamyron Magee of Angie, La, was taken into custody without incident Thursday by agents with the Western District of Louisiana United States Marshal's Violent Offender Task Force, according to LPD spokesperson Sgt. Wayne Griffin.

Investigators were able to gain enough information to obtain an arrest warrant for Magee. He has been booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center and is facing two charges of First Degree Murder and two charges of Attempted First Degree Murder.

Two teens, Ja'Kyrie Clark,19, and Nathaniel Sharply,18, died as a result of the shooting that occurred around 1 a.m. at Moore Park in Lafayette.

Police say around 300 people were gathered at the park for a party after the UL football game, when a fight broke out that turned into a shooting.
