Additional arrests made in Friendship Street shooting

The Lafayette Police Department says two more arrests have been made in December 30 shooting on Friendship Street.

18-year-old Lance Savoy and 18-year-old Sterling G. Lee III, both of Lafayette, were arrested on active warrants for attempted first-degree murder.

They were booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.

On December 30, police responded to the 100 block of Friendship Street where they located a 19-year-old male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds outside of a residence.

He was transported to a local hospital in stable but critical condition.

19-year-old Tanisha Carron was arrested on December 31 for attempted first degree murder in connection with the case.
