LAFAYETTE, La. - One person was arrested in a shooting that happened in the 100 block Friendship Street in Lafayette early Monday morning.
Taniesha Carron, 19, was arrested on a warrant Tuesday, December 31, 2019, on a charge of attempted first degree murder. No bond is set.
The victim, a 19-year-old male, was shot multiple times and transported to a local hospital.
The victim is listed in stable but critical condition, according to Cpl. Bridgette Dugas, spokesperson for the Lafayette Police Department.
