Jason Muller, a social studies teacher at L. J. Alleman Middle School has received a classroom grant from the DAR.
Every year, the Daughters of the American Revolution award two classroom grants in each state and the District of Columbia.
This year Muller was the recipient of $500 to be used in his classroom. His application was endorsed by the Galvez Chapter, DAR in Lafayette.
Muller has been recognized by DAR as the Outstanding Teacher of American History in Louisiana.
