Household waste and recycling collection in New Iberia will operate on an amended schedule due to the New Year's holiday.
The City of New Iberia says that Republic Services will not operate their usual household garbage and recycle routes on Wednesday, January 1, 2020.
They will resume on Thursday, January 2 picking up routes a day behind.
Gordon's Disposal will resume their regular collection services beginning next week, January 6, 2020.
