The Iberia Parish School Board is slated to decide distribution of the half-cent sales tax for next year tomorrow.
The item is on the agenda for the board's regular meeting, which starts at 5:30 p.m. tonight in the board room of the administrative offices on Jane Street in New Iberia.
Staff is recommending that the board allocate $56 per student for the 2020-21 school year. That's a total of $698,320 which is $9 more per student than last year's allocation.
Also on the agenda is the selection of an architect for the re-roofing project at New Iberia Senior High.
