The Iberia Parish Coroner's Office has identified the body found along Old Jeanerette Road on Sunday, September 15.
The body has been identified as 40-year-old Jarrad Cannon of Patterson.
The Coroner's Office says that Cannon's body was found in a ditch along the roadway.
Details of investigation are pending.
The Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office says they are investigating the incident as a homicide.
