A Teurlings Catholic football player is in the hospital after testing positive for the coronavirus.
Head football coach Dane Charpentier says he is in contact with the player who he says is doing better.
Teurlings suspended workouts and will resume on July 13th.
The schools joins a growing list of Acadiana parishes and schools who have suspended or canceled off-season activities as players contract the virus.
