Tuesday is picking right up where Monday left off with with temperatures already off to a hot start, and looking to get even hotter in the afternoon.
Highs are looking to once again push into the low 90s, but it's the heat index that will be the more important number and that will be in the triple digits.
There's enough moisture in the atmosphere to squeeze out a shower or two but they will stay very isolated and brief, rain chances will sit around 10%.
A second round of African dust is moving in for the middle of the week which will make for a very hazy day on Wednesday, although not as thick as the dust we got over the weekend.
As we get into the second half of the work week we will see a front slide into the area and stall just offshore, this will keep elevated rain chances in the forecast starting Friday and lasting into next week.
