As we turn the corner into the holiday season the temperatures will be feeling a little more like the holiday season with Acadiana's first freeze of the year coming late Monday night into Tuesday morning.

A Freeze Warning is going to be up across Acadiana starting late Monday and lasting into Tuesday morning, this means that tender vegetation should be either covered or brought inside out of the cold.

There will be plenty of sunshine across Acadiana over the next couple of days, but despite the sun, highs will sit in the lower 50s over the next few days and the winds will keep the wind chill in the 40s.

A front is expected to move through in the middle of the week which will be our next chance of rain and will help keep the temperatures cool as we head into the weekend.
