South Louisiana continues to deal with a warm, muggy air mass which has been the culprit behind our afternoon highs and the fog we've been getting in the early morning hours.
A Dense Fog Advisory will be in effect until 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday along the entire I-10 corridor from east Texas through Acadiana, expect visibility at times to be around or below a quarter of a mile.
Once the fog lifts we will continue to see plenty of cloud cover with only a little sunshine able to break through at times making it another gray day.
Temperatures will continue to sit in the upper 70s with a heat index in the 80s, lows will drop down to the mid 60s with another round of clouds and fog on the way for Thursday.
This pattern will finally break up on Saturday when a front moves through freshening the atmosphere and dropping temperatures.
