A new study has found that women who live in states with strict abortion laws, including Louisiana, account for the majority of requests made to a website that supplies abortion medications.
The website, Women on Web, is run by an international non-profit and provides abortion medications, under doctor supervisions, to women living in countries where safe abortions are not available.
This hasn't stopped women from states with strict abortion laws from reaching out to the organization, requesting assistance.
The states with the most requests are Mississippi, followed by Louisiana and Alabama. Tennessee takes fourth place, followed closely by Texas.
