Troopers are currently investigating a commercial motor vehicle crash on US Hwy 190 west of LA Hwy 978 in Pointe Coupee Parish.
State Police say that as a result of the crash, several hundred gallons of fuel spilled onto the roadway. Crews are currently on scene and working to clear the roadway.
US Hwy 190 is closed both eastbound and westbound. Traffic is being diverted from US Hwy 190 onto LA Hwy 978 and LA Hwy 78.
