Two boaters missing out of St. Tammany Parish have been found.

Ted Roach and Jennifer Lingoni were located on Monday afternoon by two boaters. The two left out of Salt Bayou on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. and by 3:00 pm that afternoon had not returned as planned.

The coast guard and LDWF searched until dark on Sunday but the search was suspended after conditions became too dangerous.

Nearly 24 hours after they went missing, the two boaters were found sitting on the porch of a camp near Bayou Lacombe and were brought to a nearby boat launch. They were checked by medical personnel and found to be in good condition, according to deputies.

The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office says that Roach and Lingoni told deputies their boat sank in the Rigolets on Sunday afternoon, and they spent Sunday afternoon and Sunday night clinging to one life jacket before they made it to shore at Goose Point sometime Monday morning.

They then swam across a marsh area and sought refuge at the camp until they were located.
