DOTD crews are removing concrete from the road void on US 80 (E. Texas St) in Bossier City. The City and its sewer repair contractor are also on scene to determine what caused the void to occur. DOTD will begin roadway repairs as soon as the issue is addressed. pic.twitter.com/JgGi83AFn1

The Shreveport Times reports that two people that were in a vehicle wer etaken to a local hospital after falling into the hole.
They had non-life threatening injuries.
The incident occurred about 2 pm on East Texas Street.
A DOTD spokesperson told the Times that "there's water flow occurring where it shouldn't," and said crews were on scene to figure out if the failure is related to city sewage work done in the area recently.
