Three women have been arrested in connection with the assault on a teenage hostess at a Baton Rouge Chili's on Sunday, August 9.

Police say 48-year-old Tammy Dabney, 27-year-old Rodneka Dabney, and 46-year-old Erica Dabney were arrested Thursday in connection with the investigation.

The three are believed to have been a part of a group of 11 or more women that arrived at the Chili's on Constitution Avenue on Sunday where the incident occurred.

Police say the women requested to sit together at one table and were told by a teen employee that only groups of six were allowed to sit together per the restaurant's social distancing guidelines.

The 17-year-old hostess, Kelsy Wallace, requested a manager to handle the situation when an altercation occurred.

Police say Wallace was physically assaulted by multiple women in the group and was treated at a local hospital.

Wallace said that one of the women picked up a wet floor sign and struck her near her eye. That injury required stitches. Read more on the incident: Teenage worker at Baton Rouge Chili's reportedly attacked for enforcing COVID guidelines
