BATON ROUGE, La. - The Southern University Agricultural Research and Extension Center's Southern Institute for Medicinal Plants will be hosting a job fair Monday, October 21 from 4-7 pm.
Candidates will be interviewed on-site at the Ag Center’s Multipurpose Building located at 14600 Scenic Highway, Baton Rouge.
It’s common for employers to drug test new hires; Dr. Macias, CEO of Ilera Holistic Healthcare told WAFB. That’s not the case for their employees.
“So jokingly, that is funny, but we do not test you for THC and CBD because we truly know the medicinal benefits of the medicine," according to Macias. "In fact, we encourage patients to really consider using that as a treatment option.”
