BATON ROUGE, La. — The Louisiana State Senate have announced that it will convene on Tuesday, March 31 at 11 a.m.
In a release about the announcement, the senate stated that media will be allowed into the Senate Chamber under usual guidelines.
However, all media attending tomorrow’s Senate proceedings are directed to follow CDC protocols and practice social distancing.
The 2020 Louisiana Legislative Session initially convened at the state capitol on March 18.
However, after meeting with medical professionals and other state officials, Senate President Page Cortez and Speaker of the House of Representatives Clay Schexnayder decided toadjourn the regular session until March 31, 2020.
