Starting Sunday, September 20, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineer will have a sign-up station for Operation Blue Roof co-located with FEMA's mobile registration center on LSU's Ag Ext campus at 10098 Gulf Highway in Cameron Parish.
Homeowners with roof damage from Hurricane Laura can apply for Operation Blue Roof, which is a free program for homeowners to get fiber-reinforced sheeting installed on the roof of homes damaged by Hurricane #Laura.
Eligible parishes are: Allen, Beauregard, Calcasieu, Cameron, Jefferson Davis, and Vernon. The deadline to apply is Sept 30.
