Shoe Station will host a job fair on Saturday at all all of its 21 locations, including those in Louisiana.
"We are looking to hire as many as 200 seasonal full- and part-time employees," stated the retailer's President and CEO Brent Barkin. "Many of these positions could lead to career positions in 2020."
The job fair will take place from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. and interested individuals can apply in person.
Shoe Station encourages all individuals, including veterans and members of the U.S. Armed Services, to apply. As part of its long-term partnership with United Way of Southwest Alabama, recipients of aid from any United Way and any of that non-profit organization's local partners are invited to apply.
"Shoe Station anticipates robust sales this holiday season, both online and in our brick-and-mortar locations. We welcome staff to provide our customers with even more assistance finding the right men's, women's, and children's shoes and accessories for families," Barkin stated.
Benefits for staff members include flexible scheduling and an employee discount.
The Lafayette store is located at 3606 Ambassador Caffery.
The two other Louisiana locations are in Baton Rouge, on Airline Highway and Seigen Lane.
