Three people have been shot so far today in New Orleans - one fatally in Mid-City, two non-fatally in Treme - which brings the total of people shot in the city to 17 since Friday.
The Monday afternoon shooting, in the 2400 block of Ursulines, left two people wounded. The Mid-City shooting happened about noon on Ulloa.
According to our media partners at The Advocate-Times Picayune, at least 17 people have been shot in New Orleans since Friday, four of them fatally.

Police reported the shooting just after 2:30 and said it happened in the 2400 block of Ursulines Avenue.
It's the second shooting Monday. A few hours earlier a man was shot dead in Mid-City.
