BATON ROUGE — The Advocate and the Times-Picayune are taking precautions after some of their reporters attended the same conference as one of the newest COVID-19 patients.
The papers say those reporters who attended the National Institute for Computer-Assisted Reporting event in New Orleans will be "working form home for the time being."
The papers have hired a firm to clean their offices in Lafayette, Baton Rouge, and New Orleans. They say those offices will stay open.
