President Donald Trump is expected to attend the College Football Playoff championship game in New Orleans, according to The Advocate.
According to The Advocate, Trump's spokesman didn't immediately respond to a request for more details. The information on the president's possible attendance comes to the paper from a source familiar with preparations underway but not authorized to discuss them publicly. The source says the plans are tentative and could change depending on current circumstances.
Trump has so far attended the LSU vs. Alabama game in Tuscaloosa earlier this season. He has also attended previous National Championship Games.
The game, which will see LSU take on Clemson, will be played at the Superdome in New Orleans on January 13, 2020.
