Central portions of Louisiana saw more flooding from Barry on Monday, but Tuesday, communities are still reporting high waters even after the storm has moved out of the area.
Numerous locations in Evangeline and St. Landry Parishes received heavy rains Monday morning, causing widespread flooding and unsafe conditions for residents.
In Ville Platte, residents Monday were left to clean up after water entered homes and made roads impassable.

St. Landry Parish has also seen extensive flooding. Tuesday, the sheriff's Office is conducting search and rescue operations as roads and neighborhoods were left flooded.

In Oberlin, to the west of Evangeline Parish in Allen Parish, residents on Tuesday awoke to extreme flooding and damage to residential homes and businesses.
