Two people are wanted after the attempted kidnapping of a 7-year-old girl in New Orleans' second district.
Police say the incident occurred on Friday, November 29, at 6:20 p.m. A report states the girl was playing near the intersection of General Ogden and Olive Streets. An unknown black male driving a white van with a ladder on the roof allegedly exited the vehicle and approached the girl.
The man then grabbed the girl by the arm and began to pull her towards the van, say police. The girl screamed and the male let go, returned to the van, and fled the area.
Police add he may be traveling with another male who is believed to be Hispanic.
