KALB is reporting that Michael Mitchell has been arrested in Avoyelles Parish.
APSO confirms that Mitchell is in custody after being arrested at the Deluxe Inn Motel in Marksville after being found by the U.S. Marshal's Violent Offender Task Force.
APSO told KALB it was a "local arrest" for possession of drugs, illegal carrying of weapons, and convicted felon in possession of a firearm.
Authorities are still searching for Thaddeous Charles Green, and there is a reward for information leading to his capture.

Police are cautioning that the killing had nothing at all to do with that trial or case.
