The Coast Guard says a 34-year-old man was airlifted Friday morning after he fell 10 feet while on a vessel near Venice.
Officials say they received the report at 1:47 am that a man had fallen 10 feet on the motor vessel UBC Stockholm and suffered a head injury.
An MH-65 Dolphin Helicopter was dispatched from New Orleans to the vessel. The person was airlifted to University Medical Center in New Orleans.
The Coast Guard says that the man is currently in stable condition.
