Louisiana Oil & Gas Association President Gifford Briggs is stepping down to take another job.
Briggs will become the Gulf Coast Region Director for the American Petroleum Institute.
He joined LOGA in 2007 and succeeded his father, Don Briggs, as president in 2018.
Mike Moncla will serve as interim president.
