I-10 East open near Ramah after recovery of overturned 18-wheeler

All lanes are now open on I-10 East past LA 3000 (Ramah). Congestion has reached approximately one mile beyond LA 975 (Whiskey Bay).


UPDATE: I-10 East is closed at LA 3000 (Ramah) due to recovery operations underway for an overturned 18-wheeler.

Motorists are advised to use an alternate route. Congestion has reached approximately six miles.


Lanes of traffic are blocked on I-10 East at Ramah due to an overturned 18-wheeler.

The incident happened at around 8:30 on Wednesday morning.

DOTD reports that the incident involving an overturned semi-trailer is located near LA-3000 Northbound.

All lanes are blocked at this time. Police are on scene and it appears that crews are working to remove the wreck.

Congestion is building along the roadway.
