In Baton Rouge, police are searching for the suspects who damaged a historic African American cemetery.

Police say the sign in front of the Sweet Olive Cemetery was spray painted over the weekend.

So far there are no suspects, but police believe there is a connection to similar acts in the area.

The Advocate reports that Sweet Olive Cemetery is the oldest African American cemetery in the city and is the final resting place for many proficient black residents.
