BATON ROUGE, La. - Chris Meaux, one of Louisiana's most successful and seasoned entrepreneurs, is getting involved with another Louisiana startup. Meaux has agreed to become a Senior Advisor to Relief Telemed, an on-demand healthcare platform headquartered inside the Louisiana Technology Park. Adding Meaux as an advisor will allow Relief Co-founders, Vishal Vasanji and James Davis, to leverage his knowledge of on-demand platforms and hyperlocal sales strategies. The company will also benefit from his understanding of growing startups to guide and advise the company on their path to rapid growth.

Meaux's decision to advise this particular company can not only be attributed to his relevant experience with on-demand platforms, but also his eye for ventures with opportunities to make a significant impact in their industries.

"Vishal and James are just beginning their journey for growth with the Relief platform and I feel my experience with building on demand platforms will help accelerate their growth. I truly believe they are on the track to change healthcare as we know it and I want to help them accelerate their plans by avoiding obstacles faced while growing on demand platforms.," said Meaux. "It's an exciting time in healthcare as innovative care delivery models are changing how healthcare is delivered. They've got a tremendous opportunity to do something great, and I'm excited to help them get there."

"We are extremely excited to have someone with Chris's experience and insights join our advisory team. His expertise with on-demand delivery platforms and rapid consumer adoption will undoubtedly help us design a framework that can scale.", say Vishal Vasanji, Co-founder & CEO of Relief Telemed. He adds that "In order to innovate and build something great, you have to look at those that have done it. Chris has created the blueprint; we just need to adapt it and execute."

This move signals not only Chris's belief in the Relief Telemed team and its product, but his commitment to growing entrepreneurship in his home state of Louisiana.
