LSU's record breaking quarterback Joe Burrow could soon have a Baton Rouge street named in his honor.
According to the Advocate, an item is set to go before the East Baton Rouge Planning Commission that would rename Henry Adams Road to Burrow Road.
The man submitting the request, Matt Estopinal, tells the newspaper that the change would be "a fun, lighthearted way to show appreciation for Joe and all he did for LSU and the state as a whole."
The item goes before the commission on March 16.
Henry Adams Road is a private road off Highland Road and southeast of the LSU campus.
The Advocate says that Estopinal is developing four lots at the intersection of Highland and Henry Adams Road.
