The identity of the teenager who drowned at a Shreveport water park on Thursday, July 25 has been released.
The Caddo Parish Coroner's Office has identified the drowning victim as 13-year-old Kendall Williams of El Dorado, Arkansas.
According to KTBS, Shreveport Police say that the teen went under and did not resurface at the Splash Kingdom Family Waterpark in Shreveport.
The incident occurred at 5:10 pm.
Officials say the teen was taken to Willis-Knighton Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
An autopsy will be performed.
