Application for front line worker hazard pay may reach limit today but officials say keep applying

While the state's hazard pay applications approaches its 200,000 person limit, the Department of Revenue encourages people to keep applying.

According to our media partners at The Advocate, the Department of Revenue hopes that more money will be set aside for future stipends with continued applications.

In a statement released by the department's spokesperson, if more funding becomes available applicants who missed out the first time could receive a check in later rounds.

The deadline for current applications is October 31st.
