DONALDSONVILLE, La. (AP) - Four juveniles are facing criminal charges after they allegedly took school buses on a joy ride at Donaldsonville High School, smashed a brick building and damaged three vehicles.

The Advocate reports the juveniles were arrested Thursday on felony criminal damage charges and other counts. Their names were not released because of their age.

Ascension Parish Sheriff Bobby Webre says the juveniles walked onto the high school campus sometime before 7 p.m. Wednesday, got on the three buses and drove them around the parking lot before two were driven into an exterior wall at the school.

No injuries were reported.

Weber says the building sustained moderate damage to the exterior.
