President Donald J. Trump was in New Orleans today to give a speech at the American Farm Bureau Federation’s 100th annual convention.
This is the president’s second appearance at a Farm Bureau annual convention. Last year, the president spoke to those gathered for the 99th annual convention held in Nashville. This year will mark the centennial celebration for the bureau.
The president spoke during the convention’s closing general session. He was expected to address the impacts of the new trade agreements between the U.S., Mexico, and Canada. He will also speak on the recently passed farm bill.
