According to WBRZ, a driver has been cited for the crash this morning at LSU that sent four student pedestrians to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say that the incident happened at around 9:30 on Friday morning at the intersection of Nicholson Highway and Skip Bertman Drive. Two cars reportedly collided in the intersection causing one of the vehicles to drive onto the sidewalk and into several students who were waiting at the crosswalk. Authorities say the drivers of the vehicles involved in the crash were also students at LSU.

The four students were sent to the hospital with injuries that police say they considered to be non-life threatening.

Police issued a citation to one of the drivers for failure to yield and careless operation, according to WBRZ.
