Monday's wild weather has come to an end and now Acadiana will deal with the fall out from that big system that pushed its way across the area.
The clouds are still sticking around and won't start to clear until Tuesday afternoon, but even a little sunshine won't help the temperatures.
Highs will stick around at 49 with a wind chill that will stay in the low 40s and upper 30s, a result of the winds that will be out of the north at 15-20 mph.
Winds will start to relax overnight and skies will clear so be prepared for the temperatures to drop down to around the freezing mark across Acadiana.
Pipes will be fine but any sensitive vegetation should be taken care as there will be a frost early Wednesday morning.
The remainder of the work week will be clear with chilly conditions all the way through into the weekend.
