The forecast is settling down a little as we wrap up, what has been a very wet, work week.
Plenty of clouds will linger in the atmosphere and even when there's a break in the clouds skies will be hazy with a solid layer of dust hanging in the air.
If you suffer from respiratory issues it may not be a bad idea to not overexert yourself outside, air quality will be a little lower across Acadiana Friday as a result of that dust.
Shower chances will be much more diminished on Friday as compared to earlier this week but with all the moisture in the atmosphere it won't be out of the question to catch a pop up shower in the afternoon.
The weekend is going to be a little more typical for the summer months with temperatures warming up and showers scattered through the afternoon both Saturday and Sunday, clouds look to linger through the majority of the weekend as well.
This pattern will settle down to more or less normal for next week with rain chances remaining spotty and sunny mornings leading to hot afternoons.
