The showers have been rather stubborn this Thursday morning, lingering around on the tail end of Wednesday's front.

While showers will come to an end around sunrise the clouds will be a little harder to get to clear out of the area, gray skies will stick around through the rest of the day.

This is not going to help temperatures at all which will fall through the rest of the day, and the wind chill is going to remain in the low 40s all day long.

Winds will be out of the north around 10-15 mph and gusting higher than that at times, responsible for the colder air that will be moving in.

As the clouds break overnight temperatures will be allowed to fall down into the mid 30s, winds should stay breezy enough to prevent some of the frost for developing on the plants.

The clear skies will set the stage for what is expected to be a beautiful weekend with temperatures warming up into the 60s and the sun finally coming out.
