The clouds have been relentless the last several days and it doesn't look like the sun will be given much of a chance on Thursday with more gray skies on tap.
The temperatures will sit in the upper 50s in the afternoon with a light breeze coming out of the north around 5-10 mph which will keep things feeling cool.
Gray skies will continue through the rest of the night, keeping the temperatures in the upper 40s, with showers arriving late Thursday night/early Friday morning.
Rain will be arriving in southern parts of Acadiana through Friday morning, especially in southeastern parts of the region through the morning commute.
Showers will clear the area by the afternoon and we'll be looking at cloudy skies through Friday afternoon before sunshine returns for the weekend.
